This ancient way of fisherman leads us to discover some of the Europe Atlantic coastline´s most beautiful beaches. This hike starts with a go back in time, about 115 million years to see the dinosaur footprints, made during the Lower Cretaceous. The next stage will be the beautiful Adraga beach, where we can have a coffee in the restaurant with the same name.
Dare to look at the 90m depth Fojo, a natural well that connects to the sea, and find if the Romans had reason to believe that deep down there was a Triton playing music in a shell.
The highlight of this hike will be the picnic in the wild Ursa beach, considered by the Michelin Guide as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and where the more daring can dive in it´s clear waters. Always with the Lighthouse Roca to tell us our fate, be impressed by the mighty Atlantic waves power and how they shaped the coast in impossible ways to man.
Optional Experience: The day will finish in the most western vineyard in Europe. This local farm, built in the 18th century, stands between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sintra sierra. Its wines are characterized by their aging-potential, character and complexity. After visiting the vineyards and the winery, we will have a wine tasting where we will try some of the most enigmatic fine wines of Portugal. Thanks to the proximity of the sea, this wines have a strong savory sea notes, being also very fragrant, fresh and balanced.Book Now Ask a Question
